Most CC&R and condo association rules have clauses that say illegal activites are against the rules and those clauses could be used to begin forclosure. Remeber the Condo Association owns the buildings, you own the living space only. Be careful.

   A couple of thoughts....

A careful reading of the agreement you signed when buying the condo would be a good idea. They may well have clauses concerning working out of your home, and engaging in illegal activities.

Whether they do or not, though, they could certainly put enough heat on you to get you out. AMPs and incall locations are usually busted because of neighbor (and wife) complaints. If the association went to the cops, I suspect you would get set up pretty quickly.

I think HaHaHa has the right idea (as he often does). Get another location to use for incalls.

   Dear Provider:
The answer to your question is YES. We manage condos. I would agree with the advice you have received here. The risk is two-fold: losing your condo and being outed to LE. Neighbors can be very formidable if they feel the value of their property is being compromised. Moving your business to a different location is advisable. Good luck.

Home Owner Associations seem to differ depending on how big your complex is. If the complex is fairly large, Associations tend to be hands off and out of peoples' business because there are too many 'owners' to keep track of, not to mention the fact that in any given Condominium there are usually some sublets, which means basically renters.

If your association and complex are small, I would think that there is a good chance you will eventually get caught. In general, I would do most of your calls elsewhere, and maybe just entertain a few trusted, discreet regulars at your home.

Good luck.
