this is a good question. I'm surprised I haven't seen it come up before.

'Enigma' is widely considered mysterious, possibly hard to make any sense out of, but generally acknowleged to be nookie music.

Hard to find. Named simply Enigma, Enigma 2, Enigma 3.

You don't mean Enya do you” ‘Cause she has a tune called Enigma. I use her music sometimes. Its got the required thumping beat to get the hips going in rhythm, and nice feminine mysticism to keep the lady in the mood.

A few weeks ago, while entwined with a lady friend in my bedroom, I have my clock radio tuned to kksf. Some Keiko Matsui I think, then sudden the news and president Bush-wack delivering a speech. My pecker crashed faster than the Hindenberg…Oh the humanity! We both laughed it off.

Enya could be another good choice. Got a couple of hers. But she is not 'Enigma'.

Enigma is the creation of someone named Michael Cretu (I think). He's French, but it's in English although you may sometimes hear an accent. You often hear a female voice with an accent. Come to think of it, there's a little french in there too. But nothing more complicated than the "voulez coucher avec moi" level of french.

I like Massive Attack's Blue Lines even better. It's all good.

Actually, I prefer albums with very SHORT songs, so I feel like I've been there (in action) a long time !!!

"Cretin Hop" would have been suitable for some of the girls I dated in my younger days.

I always thought Sade albums were good for making out/screwing... Listening to the songs in order, you can almost see the rounding of the bases...

   Patsy Cline.

I kid you not. Several years ago, I had a session where the provider played a Patsy Cline tape throughout. She hummed and sang along while riding cowgirl. One of the most memorable sessions I ever had.

Shortly after, I went out and bought a Patsy Cline CD and have played it man times with my wife. She thought it was odd since she knows I do not like country music and own no other country CD.

Gawd, I hope she doesn't read this board.

Anybody tried Ravel's Bolero? 'twas (at least) the classical piece everybody thought everyone else was screwing to in the '70s. Immortalized by the movie "10" if memory serves.

Pachelbel's Canon was also popular (the slow, schmaltzy renditions, not today's sprightly Historically Correct versions). Another in that genre is Bach's Air On The G string.

Knave (if it ain't Baroque - fix it)
