"Let's Dream - 1 BILLION DOLLARS"
 
   O.K. Since this is the off-topic section, I thought maybe this would be interesting and fun to see what others would do in this situation, however unlikely.

Situation: There's a Lottery, it's up to 1 Billion dollars and you are the only winner and get all the cash in one lump sum tax free.

What would you buy and spend the money on? Type of cars, type of house and where (actually how many homes). Where would you travel and do? What would you do with such and obscene amount of dough?

I'm postin' cuz I think of this once in a while and it's kind of fun to envison how lavishly I would live, how about anyone else?

   Pay of bills & money owed to relatives. Give each relatine 1 million dollars each.
Move to Australia. ( have a house in Hawaii also..) Get a Dodge Viper.

I would have a house on every continent, except Antartica, plus a house somewhere in French Polynesia. Some in the mountains for skiing, some at the beach.

It would really be nice to make a docutmentary about prostitutes. One that is not intent on showing that all prostitutes are heroin addicted runaway children with pimps beating them up every day. I think with so much money, I could get it aired. With some of the money, I would try to help those types of prostitutes as well, set up an organization with a fund.

I would buy a jet or two and learn to fly it myself. Life would be interested for me and my friends, that is for sure.

One of those big ones with the chrome double wheels in the back. So I can pull around my trailer.

   I'd spend 1/2, yeah 500 million on the most lavish house possible for the money...The rest would go to a partial payment to buy the Bellagio, bulldoze it (just because I want that location) and open up my own V.I.P. typa Casino.....since that'll pretty much tap me out, I'll have to wait for a private cruise ship and a few airplanes.

   First I'd take 900 mil and establish
a Charitable Foundation that will live
on helping various causes for many
years/decades after I am gone.

Now with the 100 mil leftover,
I'd start with one month of all nighters with my ATF.

   I thought of a better idea for the last 100 mil.

A 6 month trip around the world with my ATF.
3 months in Europe, 3 months in Asia and 3 months
split between South America, Africa and the Middle
East.

Ahhhhh ... it's fun to dream.
