"Guide for prospective providers..."
This thread is intended (for as long as it lasts) to contain information related to women interested in finding the "right" way start working as an escort. The reason I decided to do this is because of a thread a provider started, and others replied to, saying that they occasionally received emails from women trying to find information. I wanted to make this thread available so that Nicole and the others can simply refer to it by advising the interested parties to search for it in the archive.

My contributions are as follows:

http://www.bigdoggie.net/ contains guidelines on how to initiate an encounter, and interact during it, for providers and clients.

http://www.bayswan.org/penet.html is an educational site I found, when I searched on COYOTE and prostition. I don't know much about it, but it seemed to contain a few interesting links.

I tried to find the Cyprian(sp) Guild site, but was unsuccessful. Maybe somebody else can post it here.

Best of luck to you, whether or not you decide to pursue escorting as a career!

1. "Stole post from Dilligaf..."
As Picaso used to say, "Brilliance copies, genius steals", or some such nonsense... Anyway, thanks Dilli!

>I am new to the escorting
>business, and I was hoping
>someone can
>tell me how to get started
>as far as taking phone
>calls what to say or
>ask. The do's and
>dont's of the trade.

New to the biz...don't know the 'do's and dont's of the trade', don't know what to say on the phone....and yet you have STILL managed to find RedBook? Hmmmmm.

Anyway.

I have two pieces of advice.

1. Seeing as though you have access to a comp, research all the info pertaining to the legislation/laws/ordinances etc about 'escorting'.

2. Research info about std's - what's out there, how they can be transmitted and how you can protect yourself so that however you choose to conduct your business, you do so as an 'informed' person.

Spending a couple of hours following these pieces of advice will make your life much easier in the long run.
