"Looks Bad for MSC's Longevity!"
Did anyone happen to catch the picture of the front of the Palace on the front page of the East Bay section of the SF Chronicle today? If you did not, there was a lengthy article about tearing down and rebuilding 10 city blocks of Market Street right where the Palace, LA Gals, and the CH are located. Instead of having those landmarks there, the city wants to build yuppie housing, fancy restaurants and boutique shops. What a TRAVESTY!!!
The article is implying that the City wants to do what NYC did to Times Square. And if any of you got to experience the pre-facelift Times Square and the new, improved TS you will know what a shame it would be if Market Street too gets cleaned up.
Without the Palace and the like, where am I going to hang out with all of you other PL's (pathetic losers I think were called)?

i look at it like this, with all the free space in san fran by those dot-com companies that went belly up, i imagine the ch relocating and since lagals is owned by djv, the dancers at lagals will relocate to the other djv clubs. as far as msc goes the best dancers (tigra, sophia, the top caliber girls) should have no prob finding another club. the ROB's and pigs like cappoccino had hopefully saved thier $$$ from ripping off those poor customers of thiers other wise its "would you like fries with that?"

Thats been a debate about cleaning up Market Street for a long time. But fortunately the Supervisor of that district is a supporter of Strip Clubs. Read this previous link. Its not as a Sure thing as you think it might be. http://www.examiner.com/news/default.jsp?story=n.market.0410w
Yes the MSC is having major problems but the developers is the least of them . Peace
