"The end of MSC???"
Greetings,

Last Sunday's Examiner carried a front page story about new investment and development being planned for Market Street. Apparently the area might get a face lift in the mold of the Metreon and that area. Could this mean the end of MSC? Certianly the owners are already pinching pennies with the new $20.00 booths..... anyone have any insight?

They may be out of business before that under current Mgt. One would hope that any redevelopment would start with 6th Street which just looks awful.

3. "RE: MARKET STREET!"
Market Street is a long street. There are many sections that need a face lift! The section between 6th and 7th Street is one amongst many. But, low on the totem pole. The present Market Street Cinema may fall prey as it will have to meet the seismic reqirements, long over due! It is one of the oldest theaters in the City and County of San Francisco! In the mean time it would be nice if the place was kept half way decent and some sanitation maintained!

4. "Alas, another landmark falls."
As with "The Block" in Baltimore and "The Combat Zone" in Boston, soon it will be just a shadow of its former self.
